The Pursuit Of Happiness

An absorbing love story set against a compelling period of American history; from post World War Two euphoria to the darker days of McCarthyism; Manhatten, Thanksgiving Eve 1945. War is over and Eric Smythe’s party is swinging. His sister Sara looks on. She is considering a discreet exit. Then in walks gate-crasher Jack Malone, an army journalist fresh from a defeated Germany. Their chance meeting will have profound consequences which will reverberate across generations.
