Winner of ‘Best Adaptation’ at the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2015
Sylvia is in hospital suffering from severe memory loss. The treatment she is undergoing is radical – she is suspended above the floor, hanging by her neck. Medical staff assure her that this way ‘everything will fall into place’. Whilst there, Sylvia is visited by a series of figures, both phantom and real, and she slowly starts to remember the appalling events that have occurred, which have led to the death of her only daughter. Only then is Sylvia finally able to “come to grief”.
